Illegal Sand and Stone Chips Mining Rampant Gaya

Gaya: Illegal sand and stone chips mining is taking place in good manner in Gaya district. According to DM and SSP of the district, the reason for this smuggling of sand and stone chips is the non-settlement of Ghats and Stone Queries by the Mining department.
This illegal mining is prominent in Barachatti, Muffasil, Gurua and Konch blocks of the district. And it is causing a huge loss of revenue to the govt. exchequer.
DM and SSP have asked the mining
officer to spend at least 20 days on field
inspection to check this illegal mining.
