Putin now praises people of India as ‘Talented, Driven’

A few days after praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and calling him a “true patriot”, Russian President Vladimir Putin has lauded the people of India terming them “talented” and “driven”. He also said India will achieve its goals of development. This high praise from Putin came a week after he paid glowing tributes to Modi and praised him for following an independent foreign policy in the interest of India.
Incidentally, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will meet his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on Monday during his two-day visit.
