 Cricket :India thrashes Pakistan by 7 wickets  in Asia Cup

Dubai: India handed a good thrashing to Pakistan in Asia Cup T20 cricket tournament 2025. In the leage match of Asia Cup T20 cricket tournament India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets. 

Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first. India took early wickets and rattled the Pakistani Morale. They were bundled out for a paltry score of of 127 in their innings.

They could score only 127 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs and that too with the help some couragious efforts by their tail order batsman. Shahin Shah Afridi scored a quickfire 33 off just 16 balls. He struck 4 sixes in his couragious innings.

In reply India made a Good, Aggressive and Punitive opening of  their batting innings. India's opening batsman Abhishek Sharma slapped a Stunning, Insulting and Morale breaking four to the first ball of Indian innings. 

Pakistan's most decorated and Star Bowler Shahin Shah Afridi opened the Pakistani bowling attack. But, Abhishek Sharma treated him like a Novice, and gave him such  a thrashing treatment that Pakistan had to take him away hide him. He was protected by the murderous assault launched against him by the Indian batsmen and particularly Abhishek Sharma. Afridi was allowed to bowl just 2 overs.

Pakistan could not even dare to bring back  Afridi for further bowling in Indian innings.

India's star batsman Suryakumar topscored with and put 47 runs off 37 balls. He finished the match in style by getting the winning run with a six.
